3. Educational Attainment: Contenders must have successfully cleared the 10+2 examination or its equivalent, encompassing physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English as fundamental subjects. The qualifying examination necessitates a minimum cumulative score of 50% for general category aspirants, 45% for general-PH contenders, and 40% for SC/ST/OBC aspirants.


4. Compulsory Disciplines: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English stand as compulsory disciplines for NEET UG 2025. Aspirants must have undertaken and cleared these disciplines individually.


5. Mandatory Achievement in Biology: In the qualifying examination (10+2), candidates must have completed and achieved at least 50% marks in biology or biotechnology. The prerequisite for SC, ST, and OBC candidates is relaxed to 40% marks in biology or biotechnology.


6. Attempts Limit: Aspirants are permitted a maximum of three attempts for NEET UG until they reach the upper age boundary as stipulated by the respective authority.


7. Additional Provisions: Candidates awaiting their 10+2 examination outcomes are also eligible to apply for NEET UG 2025, contingent upon satisfying other eligibility prerequisites.
