  • Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

  • General category candidates should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC-NCL categories, the minimum aggregate is 40%. For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), the minimum aggregate required is 45%.

  • Candidates appearing for the 12th standard examination in 2024 are also eligible to apply, provided they fulfill the aforementioned criteria upon result declaration.

Number of Attempts
  • As of the latest guidelines, there is no restriction on the number of attempts for NEET. Candidates can appear for the examination as many times as they wish, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria.

Aadhaar Card Requirement
  • The Aadhaar number is not mandatory for NEET 2024 registration. However, candidates must have a valid government-issued ID proof for registration and future references.

OCI/Foreign Nationals
  • OCI and Foreign Nationals must submit proof of their citizenship. OCI candidates might also need to present their OCI card during the admission process.
